| Research Abstract |
Earliness Principleにより、否定極性表現(NPI)の認可は派生の初期段階にNPIとその認可子のマージによって完了する。したがって、NPI認可に伴う統語的局所性はその後の派生途中で発生する移動現象に起因する。本研究は、NPI認可子が素性FORCEUを持つC投射へ顕在移動を行う提案に基づき、(1)認可の局所性、(2)認可の舞台がC領域であること、(3)wh部分移動やトピックマーカーの分布との類似性、(4)下方含意のFORCEUへの還元、(5)関係節の特殊性などを導出する。
