| Research Abstract |
Not only in developed countries but also in many Asian countries environmental public interest litigation has been introduced. It contributes to the environmental protection. However there are various forms for public interest litigation such as popular action, litigation by recognized NGOs etc. It is necessary to discuss the introduction of any public litigation system in Japan based on the global standard.
