初期近代グレート・ブリテンにおける「制度化された信用」の形成と諸問題

Research Abstract

基本的に申請通り、17世紀後半から末にかけての英国(主にイングランド)における「制度化された信用」の形成の過程をめぐる論争史を、登記、土地銀行設立、利子率といった論争の中心的な争点に焦点を当てて検討し、適宜原稿執筆、学会報告、英文専門雑誌への投稿をしていった。1.前年度にEuropean Journal of History of Economic Thoughtに投稿した論文'The Making of Institutional Credit in England, 1600-1688'を、同誌レフェリーからからのコメントをもとに書きなおし、再投稿した結果、2011年8月号への掲載が決定した。2.前年度にヨーロッパ経済学史学会で報告した原稿'Registration and credit in England 1660-1688'を、大空位期の法制度改革を巡る論争に関する問題を中心に、加筆・修正したものを、7月のオーストラリア経済学史学会で報告し、その後英文専門誌投稿に向けて、完成稿を作成した。3.前年度にオーストラリア経済学史学会で報告した'Interest controversy in its context'を、新たな資料調査をふまえ加筆・修正したものを3月のアムステルダムでのヨーロッパ経済学史学会で報告。4.1695年の「国立土地銀行」企画をめぐるいわゆる土地銀行論争の争点を、これまでの私自身の研究をふまえ検討し、原稿を作成し3月のリカードゥ研究会(明治大学)で報告した。
