| Research Abstract |
17世紀イングランドの信用制度についての議論を、人々は「信用」になにを期待していたのか、そこでは経済的要因よりは、むしろ評判や信頼性など社会・道徳的要因が重要な役割を果たしていたのではないか、という問題意識のもと、この時期無数にあった銀行案を中心に調査を進める。
具体的な目標としては、平成17年度および18年度にオーストラリア経済思想史学会で報告した、それぞれ名誉革命期までの17世紀の諸銀行案についての論考と、名誉革命からイングランド銀行設立までの銀行案についての論考を英文雑誌に投稿すべくまとめる。また、それと同時に時代を追って、その後の銀行案をめぐる論争を調査し、英語論文にまとめ、学会報告、英文雑誌投稿をめざす。
