| Research Abstract |
公的金融機関と民間の金融機関(銀行やノンバンクなど)の果たすべき役割について分析をおこなった。消費者金融市場において民間のノンバンクに加えて、社会的余剰の最大化を目的とする公的金融機関を1社加えると、ノンバンクだけの場合に比べて消費者に対する貸出総額は多くなり、貸出金利は低くなることが分かった。また、銀行とノンバンクの貸出契約の違い(有担保か無担保か)が借り手の企業の行動を通じて生産物市場の経済厚生に与える影響を調べると、担保を要求する銀行の貸出契約は、企業の行動を通じ財市場に非効率性をもたらす場合があることが分かった。
