Research Abstract |
In this study, the results obtained for the following four points. (1) Based on Family Needs Survey developed in the U.S, we developed "Family Needs Survey Japanese version". (2) We analyzed the benefits and challenges of implementing the "Family Needs Survey Japanese version". Both service providers and families concluded that the survey is useful for building mutual trust and planning support plan based consensus (3) In order to clarify the planning process of the individualized family service plan in the U.S., we conducted interviews with social workers in the U.S. (4) In order to clarify the differences in family needs due to the severity of impairment and disability characteristics, we analyzed the results of a needs assessment by the families.
