Research Abstract

変形した原子核であるウラン238に硫黄34を融合させることにより、原子番号108の超重元素の新同位体Hs268(ハッシウム268)を合成した。この生成断面積および核分裂特性の測定から、融合反応における標的原子核の変形効果を明らかにし、超重元素の生成断面積の決定に必要な融合確率の決定方法を導いた。
