Research Abstract

ダイアモンド・アンビル・セル型高圧発生装置とヘリウム圧力媒体との組み合わせて重い電子系的振舞いを示すLiV_2O_4の高圧下での室温放射光粉末回折実験を行った。その結果、本物質は室温においても約11万気圧で構造相転移をする事を見出した。この事は本物質の電子-格子-価数との相互作用が高圧力によっても制御されうる可能性を示唆している。加えて、本研究過程において粉末回折法を用いた構造解析手法を確立すべく数々の成果を得ることにも成功した。
