Research Abstract

熱平衡にある系の対称性の破れは自由エネルギー最小の原理から理解できる。しかし、平衡にない系での対称性の自発的破れの理解は進んでいない。結晶成長という非平衡系を具体的舞台として、対称性の破れを調べる。具体的には(1)結晶成長におけるキラル対称性の破れ、(2)ヘテロエピタキシャル系の形態形成とダイナミクスを研究する。
