Research Abstract

液晶ゲルの体積相転移についての理論的研究を行っている。特にネマチック相とスメクチック相に注目して,以下のことを調べている:
(1)等方性溶媒に溶けた主鎖型と側鎖型の液晶ゲルの体積相転移
(2)液晶溶媒と液晶ゲルの混合系の体積相転移の挙動
(3)外場による液晶ゲルの制御と体積相転移とそのダイナミクス
