| Research Abstract |
平成19年度には沖縄県石垣島と高知県で現生造礁サンゴ群集の観察と写真撮影を行い、そこに生息する造礁サンゴのリストを作成した。それを基に亜熱帯群集と温帯群集について検討した。
平成20年度には沖縄県石垣島、鹿児島県喜界島、高知県で現生造礁サンゴ群集のシュノーケリングによる観察と写真撮影を行った。同じ海域において、海水を採取し、海水の全炭酸と全アルカリ度、および、水温と光量子フラックスを測定した。
