Research Abstract

基本的な有機分子を,高真空状態で,かつ,極低温に冷却したアルゴン固体の中に埋め込み,紫外線を照射したときに起こる水素原子の分子内移動の様子を詳しく研究した.赤外吸収スペクトルの測定および量子化学計算による分子構造,振動数などの計算結果を併用して解析したところ,水素原子は非対称な二極性ポテンシャル面上で,トンネル効果によって異性化障壁を超えて分子内を移動して,分子の形が変化することがわかった.
