Research Abstract |
従来の高温・高圧の極端条件を用いず、より安全で経済的な溶融金属フラックス法を適用することで、3元系の新しい超硬(ミクロビッカース硬度値 : 25~40GPa)ハイヤーボライドを合成出来た。例えば、AlMB_(14)(M=Li, Mg, Na)を実用可能な微細単結晶の形で得た。微細単結晶は結晶欠陥が少ないため、通常の多結晶ボライド粉末に比較すると、厳しい使用環境下でも性能劣化しづらい。
