Research Abstract

本研究では入力あるいは出力に流動を含む場合にターゲットを絞り,液晶材料を用いたこれまでに無い全く新しいデバイスの開発を目指す。具体的には,(1)流動→液晶分子配向場の変化→電磁場(2)熱エネルギー→液晶分子配向場の変化→流動の2つについて理論計算および実験の両面からアプローチを行い,液晶材料を用いた高精度力学センサーおよび熱エネルギーを用いた液晶アクチュエータの開発可能性を示した。
