Research Abstract

アーク溶解法で作製できる高強度・高延性Ti-Fe基合金を開発した。Ti_(66)Fe_(22)Cu_(12)合金は圧縮下で2GPa超の高強度と5%以上の高延性を有し、この合金にNd、Snを添加すると、延性がさらに増大した。本合金は一般的なTi合金やTi3Al金属間化合物よりも高強度で、Ti基金属ガラスに匹敵する強度を有しつつ、延性も有している。また、Ti_(94)Fe_3Cu_3合金では1050MPaの最大引張強度と3%の引張延性が得られた。本研究で開発された一連のTi-Fe基合金は構造材料への応用が期待される。
