Research Abstract

本研究計画では、イネゲノム上にコードされるキネシンの中から植物特有のものを見いだし、その性質と構造そして生理的な役割を明らかにすることにより、イネの品種改良を目的とした高機能を付加したキネシンを開発することを試みる。具体的には次の(1)～(6)の研究計画を行う。
(1)イネゲノム上に存在する植物特異的キネシンの検索
(2)イネ特異的キネシンのクローニングと発現系の構築
(3)生化学的特徴づけ
(4)溶液中での局所的、全体的構造解析
(5)モータードメインの結晶構造解析
(6)イネ細胞での生理的役割の解明
(7)キネシン変異体の調製
