| Research Abstract |
卵子透明帯の構成糖タンパク質は動物種によって異なる。マウス透明帯はZP1, ZP2, ZP3の3成分からなり, ZP3が単独で精子結合活性を示す。ウシ卵子透明帯はブタと同じくZP2, ZP3, ZP4の3成分からなる。本研究でバキュロウイルス-Sf9細胞発現系を構築することにより, ウシの場合, ZP3単独では精子結合活性を示さずZP3/ZP4複合体が活性を示すことをあきらかにした。よって, ウシとブタにおいて透明帯の精子認識機構は類似していることが示唆された。ブタの場合, ZP3/ZP4複合体のZP4の糖鎖が精子結合に関わることがわかった。ブタZP3ならびにZP4のジスルフィド結合パターンは先に報告されたマウスなど他の動物種のものとは異なっていた。このパターンの違いと精子認識機構との関連性解明は今後の課題である。
