| Research Abstract |
酢酸菌由来の膜結合型キノプロテイン・アルコール脱水素酵素の3次元構造をX線構造解析法により決定した。膜結合部位サブユニット表面には2つの大きな窪みがあり、ユビキノンの還元部位とユビキノールの酸化部位と考えられた。分子内で電子伝達に関与している補因子PQQと4つのヘムの結合箇所を決定し、それぞれの相対分子間距離との酸化還元電位の値から、酵素中の分子内電子移動ルートを合理的に説明することができた
