| Research Abstract |
日本産ヤツメウナギ(Lethenteron japonicum)より得られた3つのOtx関連遺伝子(OtxA,OtxB, OtxC)の全長cDNA 配列を決定し、これまで明らかになっていなかった初期胚内での発現パターンをwhole mount in situ ハイブリダイゼーション法により記載した。明らかになった発現パターンを与える発現調節領域の同定を行う為にヤツメウナギBAC(大腸菌人工染色体)ライブラリーより、各遺伝子を含むBACクローンの単離を試み、OtxA遺伝子座を含むクローンの単離に成功し、ショットガンシーケンス法によりドラフト配列を得る事に成功した。
