Research Abstract

淡水魚の体表に発達する表層イオン代謝細胞は,淡水中より様々なイオンを取り込み,体内のイオン濃度を一定に保つために必要不可欠な細胞群と考えられてきた。我々はこれまでにfoxi3a遺伝子が表層イオン代謝細胞の発生分化に必須であることを明らかにしてきたが,本研究ではさらにfoxi1遺伝子,deltaC遺伝子,およびgcm2遺伝子がその細胞分化形成に関わっていることを示し,それら遺伝子間相互作用,作用機序を明らかにした。
