| Research Abstract |
根粒菌が土壌中で生活しているスタイルから共生スタイルへ変化する時のタンパク質の変化や、根粒オルガネラ(ミトコンドリア)タンパク質について網羅的に解析を行い、共生窒素固定に関与するタンパク質を検索した。このプロテオーム解析結果を利用してダイズ根粒菌バクテロイドで発現するタンパク質発現を抑制させた根粒菌破壊株を作製し、根粒形成あるいは共生窒素固定に関与するバクテロイドタンパク質を検索した。その結果、Bj80変異株が共生窒素固定に関与する遺伝子を欠損していることが明らかとなった。
