| Research Abstract |
本研究では、分布北限が異なる数樹種を材料に、葉の環境ストレスが分布北限の規定要因となるかを明らかにすることを目的としている。落葉広葉樹で北海道には自然分布しないクヌギ、ケヤキ、イヌブナ、北海道黒松内地域を北限とするブナ、石狩地域を北限とするコナラ、クリ、北海道全域に分布するミズナラ、シラカンバ、ホオノキ、シナノキ、イタヤカエデ等を材料に、葉の環境応答特性の違いをガス交換特性や光阻害の程度から評価する。
