Research Abstract

同じ飼養管理下で同じ乳量の高泌乳牛の中にも繁殖性や疾病発生が個体により異なることから、遺伝的要因が関与している可能性がある。そこで、分娩後の卵巣機能回復に強く関わっている肝臓でのIGF-1の産生や乳生産、成長を促す成長ホルモンの受容体(GHR)に牛で多型が確認されたことに注目し、GHR多型と分娩後の卵巣機能回復、泌乳および成長期の増体や代謝状態との関連性を解析した。その結果、GHR多型と成長や代謝状態との関係はみられなかったが、卵巣機能と泌乳に関連があることが示された。
