| Research Abstract |
不活化Ehrlichia canisをリポソームに封入して犬に接種したところ、末梢血細胞中に、インターフェロンγ(IFNγ)mRNAの発現増強を認め、E. canisによる攻撃後も感染は成立しなかった。次いで、治療効果を調べるため、E. canis感染犬2匹に、リポソーム封入抗原を接種したところ、末梢血白血球のIFNγmRNA発現増強を認め、末梢血白血球中にE. canis DNAは検出されなかった。これらの結果から、リポソーム封入不活化抗原が、細胞内寄生性病原体の予防ならびに治療に有効である可能性が示された。
