Research Abstract

真核生物のモデル生物である出芽酵母を用い、液胞によるタンパク質分解機構が外界からの環境ストレス応答や細胞内で生じた異常タンパク質のクリアランスに重要な役割を果たしていることを示し、その過程に関わる因子を明らかにした。具体的には外界栄養条件に応じたモノカルボン酸輸送体の細胞膜からの除去、折り畳みに異常がある分泌タンパク質の除去機構について解析した。
