| Research Abstract |
マクロファージおよび未熟樹状細胞は、生体内で常に産み出されているアポトーシス細胞を迅速に貪食除去している。また、この貪食応答に対する静止好中球および活性化好中球の影響を検討した。その結果、マクロファージ貪食能に対する助長効果は、骨髄好中球よりも浸潤好中球のほうが顕著であり、またこの効果は、trans-well assayにより好中球とマクロファージの相互作用を阻害すると、著しく低下することから、好中球とマクロファージとの相互作用が重要であることが分かった。またこの現象は、同様にアポトーシス細胞を貪食する未熟樹状細胞における貪食応答においても観察され、好中球が貪食応答全般に対して積極的に助長する機構を有していることが強く示唆された。
