Research Abstract

喘息や花粉症といった慢性アレルギー疾患は近年拡大を続けており、効果的な治療法の開発が要請されている。マスト細胞は全身の様々な組織に分布し、こうした疾患の病態形成に関わることが知られている。研究代表者は従来不明であったマスト細胞の成熟過程に着目し、本研究を通じて皮膚型マスト細胞の培養モデルを確立し、その過程を解析することを通じて、マスト細胞の増殖やはたらきを調節する仕組みの一端を明らかにした。
