| Research Abstract |
重篤型深在性真菌症対策の一つとして、哺乳動物を用いない生体内評価系を利用し、微生物の培養液・キノコの抽出液どの天然資源を素材とした新規抗真菌剤の探索を行った。昆虫(カイコ)に病原真菌カンジダを感染させ、その治療効果を指標とした評価系により、微生物の培養液約7,500サンプルを評価した結果、カイコに毒性を示すことなく抗真菌活性を示す10サンプルを選択した。そのうち、交付期間内に4サンプルから生体内でも有効な抗真菌活性物質を単離した。
