Research Abstract

脳出血による発熱の動物モデルを作成し、発熱が起こるしくみを解析した。以下のことが明らかとなった。(1)脳出血による発熱は原因物質(プロスタグランジンE2)が脳内で増加することで引き起こされる。これはウィルス感染による発熱の原因物質と同じである。(2)プロスタグランジンE2 が脳内で増えるしくみは、脳出血の早期と後期で異なる。この研究を発展させると、発熱を伴う脳出血の効果的な治療につながると期待される。
