Research Abstract

がんの発症や悪性化の分子メカニズムを解明するためには、原因となる遺伝子の同定とその機能解析が重要となる。我々は、ウイルス感染発がんモデルマウスを用いて、発がんに関係する遺伝子を網羅的に同定し、その機能や相互作用を解析している。同定された標的遺伝子のなかでも、タンパク質のメチル化・脱メチル化に関与する酵素群は、がんの新しい分子標的の候補として、特に注目して解析を進めている。
