Research Abstract

体の外面を覆う皮膚に浸潤するT 細胞は感染防御において中心的役割を担うだけでなく、アトピー性皮膚炎などの炎症性皮膚疾患の病因・病態にも関与する。その浸潤は血管内皮細胞上のセレクチンとT 細胞上のセレクチンリガンドとの相互作用により開始されるが、その分子レベルでの詳細は不明であった。本研究では、T 細胞上のセレクチンリガンドとしてPSGL-1、CD43、ESL-1 を同定し、これらの分子が協同的にT 細胞の皮膚浸潤を媒介することを明らかにした
