Research Abstract

都市部一般住民に対してパルスオキシメトリー検査を実施し、無呼吸低呼吸回数を正常群、軽症群、中程度以上群に分類した。軽症群、中程度群以上はそれぞれ男性で42%、22%、女性で25%、5%であった。睡眠時呼吸障害は、血圧上昇、動脈硬化、炎症反応、肥満、メタボリックシンドロームと関連性が認められ、睡眠時呼吸障害を有している者に対して早期発見することが、動脈硬化、高血圧の予防につながりうると考えられた。
