Research Abstract

炎症性腸疾患は再発を繰り返す原因不明の疾患で、その治療法は確立されていない。一方、ヘムオキシゲナーゼという酵素が抗炎症作用を有する事が知られてきたが、その詳細も分かっていなかった。本研究ではヘムオキシゲナーゼをマクロファージで発現させることにより、マウス実験腸炎の発症を抑制できた。また培養細胞を用いた実験から、抗炎症作用がSTAT1シグナルの抑制を介したIL-12の分泌減少によることが分かった。
