| Research Abstract |
基礎研究において、冠動脈の組織像と光干渉断層法(Optical Coherence Tomography : OCT)画像とを比較した。OCTが、冠動脈の組織像を高精度で識別できることを証明し、日本循環器学会に報告した。臨床研究において、OCTが有する危険な冠動脈病変の検出能力を、血管内超音波法や血管内視鏡と比較した。OCTが、急性心筋梗塞の冠動脈病変の診断や、将来に急性心筋梗塞をおこす可能性が高いとされる線維性被膜の薄い病変の検出に優れていることを証明し、米国心臓病学会誌に報告した
