Research Abstract

樹状細胞ワクチン(DCワクチン)は, 癌細胞の排除に最も重要とされる細胞性免疫を誘導することから, その臨床効果が期待されている. 一方スーパー抗原は, 細菌より産生される蛋白で, 強力にT細胞を活性化することが知られている. 抗腫瘍効果の高いDCワクチンを開発するために, スーパー抗原を添加したDCを作製し, そのワクチンとしての有用性を検討した. その結果, マウスにおける腫瘍の拒絶試験で, スーパー抗原を添加したDCワクチンを接種した群で腫瘍の成長が明らかに抑制されていた. DCワクチン療法におけるスーパー抗原の有用性が強く示された.
