Research Abstract |
加齢とともに腎組織内マクロファージの浸潤が増加傾向を示し、腎線維化も加齢により増加傾向を示した。一方、寿命と関連するSirt1はカロリー制限により腎臓での発現が亢進し、酸化ストレスなどの刺激に対し、カタラーゼ発現を亢進させることにより腎保護的に作用する。さらに近位尿細管Sirt1特異的過剰発現マウスではシスプラチンによる腎障害の改善、アポトーシス抑制が見られ、腎臓病におけるSirt1の保護作用が示唆された。
