Research Abstract

ストレス蛋白質は、熱や化学物質などのストレスにより組織・細胞内に誘導される一群のタンパク質の総称である。低分子量ストレス蛋白質がどのようなメカニズムで、骨代謝を調節しているのかについては不明である。本研究では、骨芽細胞において、低分子量ストレス蛋白質のHSP27誘導の分子機序の一部を明らかとした。本結果は、骨粗鬆症に対する薬物治療法への応用に極めて重要かつ有用であると考えられる。
