| Research Abstract |
サイトカインによる骨髄造血幹・前駆細胞の末梢血への動員において、骨髄で産生されるプロスタグランジンE2(PGE2)が必須であるという仮説を検証した。しかし予想に反し、ストレス状況下で定常状態からのPGE2追加産生が起こりにくい遺伝子改変マウスにおける十分な動員を観察した。PGE2受容体は4種類存在し、各分子によって同じPGE2による刺激でも異なる反応がおこることが知られており、PGE2の追加産生がないことの影響が各受容体の役割の違いで相殺されている可能性を考え、各受容体ごとの動員における必要性を現在詳細に検討中である。
