Research Abstract

We examined the effect of splenic venous hemodynamics on liver regeneration and carcinogenesis. We reported a manuscript titled "Simultaneous evaluation of portal hemodynamics and liver function by scintiphotosplenoportography in pediatric recipients of living-donor liver transplants. Hepato-Gastroenterology 2009 ; 56 : 819-823.". We also submitted manuscripts titled "Shunting and nonshunting procedures for the treatment of esophageal varices in patients with idiopathic portal hypertension. Hepatogastroenterol (in press)" and "Identification of Obstructive Jaundice-related MicroRNAs in Mouse Liver. Hepatogastroenterol (in press)".
