Research Abstract

In the present study, we investigated whether cardiolipin (CL) suppresses acute lung injury in mice induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Ithas been demonstrated that CL prevents LPS-induced acute lung injury via the inhibition of production of proinflammatory mediators such as nitric oxide and tumor necrosis factor-α.
