Research Abstract

IGF-I遺伝子多型の中でもpromoter領域に存在するCA反復多型、intron 2に存在するrs12423791、ハプロタイプブロック3に存在するrs7136446 とrs6220 は、進行性前立腺癌の癌特異的生存期間と全生存期間との間に有意な関連が認められ、これらが進行性前立腺癌の予後予測マーカーとして臨床応用される可能性が示された。
