| Research Abstract |
Lactoferrin(LF)はヒト乳汁中や好中球に多量に含有される糖蛋白で、UTIのようにヒトの尿から生成される生物製剤と異なり、人体内に存在するPrebioticsの一つである。従って、今後薬剤としての臨床応用を考慮した場合、他の薬剤と比較し安全性の優位性についてはいうまでもない。上記の観点に立ち、本研究の最終目標は、通常の生体に存在、抗炎症・抗細菌的な作用を有し、通常の薬物と比較し副作用が少ないと考えられるLF腟錠を使用し、頸管上皮等における細菌の増殖抑制を介して、切迫早産の予防・治療への応用が可能であるか否かを検討した。
