| Research Abstract |
眼内に留置可能な高分子半透膜カプセルの作成した。内腔径約1mmあるいは0.5mmの、分子量が約300kD以下の分子のみが通過できる高分子半透膜チューブを約1cm長に切り出し、両端をレジンでシールすることにより、カプセルを作成した。動物眼を用いて、眼球内に固定できるかを確かめた。培養細胞をカプセル内に封入して、その安全性を確認した。カプセル化細胞を用いた治療方法は、眼科領域でも臨床応用できる可能性が高い、安全で効果的な新しいドラッグデリバリーシステムと考えられた。
