| Research Abstract |
歯の喪失原因であり、近年急増している「歯根破折」について、歯内分野では(1) 根管治療前後の歯質の厚さ、(2) 根管充填時の応力集中、歯周分野では(1) 歯槽骨の欠損状態、(2) 歯根形態と周囲骨、について、光弾性模型を用いて応力の解析を行った。その結果、歯根破折の初発部位との関連が指摘された。また、マイクロCTを用いてヒト象牙質の石灰化度測定し、歯根表面は歯髄に近い象牙質に比べ、石灰化度が高いことが分かった。
