Research Abstract |
We tried to develop an oral appliance that induces mandibular protrusion only when sleep apnea occurs and that positive pressure is driven if the apnea disappears. We attempted to change a soft program of continuous positive airway pressure but during the study period did not make it. The research is necessary further investigation. The somatosensory evoked magnetic field analysis of electrical stimulation of the tongue was found to be useful to get information about finding and developing a sense of tongue and sleep apnea syndrome. Measuring cerebral blood flow using near-infrared spectroscopy in patients with sleep apnea syndrome, dysfunction of the frontal lobe was elucidated with the syndrome.
