Research Abstract |
We determined crystal structure of the chaperone complex important for plant immunity. The structure of an effector from potato blight disease was also determined. Various screenings, such as reverse genetics and functional assays, revealed that U-box type E3 ubiquitin ligases and autophagy related proteins are negative regulators for plant immunity.
