Research Abstract |
This study aimed at a development of LCIA method which reflects environmental conditions in Asian countries. Japanese methodology was modified to develop effectively. Regional impact categories such as urban air pollution, acidification, human toxicity and ecotoxicity were taken into account and damage factors for these impact categories were listed as an output of this study. This study enabled us to improve reliability of LCIA case studies, because many of exported Japanese products can be applied appropriately. It is expected to promote LCIA in Asian countries and obtain the leadership in this research field.
