Research Abstract

高強度の近赤外フェムト秒レーザーパルスを水に集光すると、多光子吸収によりその集光点で爆発的な水の形態変化が誘起され、衝撃波およびキャビテーションバブルが発生する。細胞の70%以上の成分は水であり、同様の現象が生細胞内でも引き起こされる。本研究は、原子間力顕微鏡(AFM)を利用した新規な微小領域圧力測定方法を駆使し、フェムト秒レーザーを蛋白質溶液および細胞に集光したときに発生する衝撃波およびキャビテーションバブルの時間的・空間的発展を明らかにし、それを利用した単一細胞および蛋白質溶液の高度な制御方法の確立を目指す。
