Research Abstract

血球,腸内細菌,微生物などのサスペンジョンは,全て細胞サスペンジョンと分類することができる.細胞の特性には変形能,遊泳能力,走性などが挙げられるが,これらは固体力学,流体力学によるモデル化が可能であり,基礎物理学により定式化された現象を丹念に追うことで現象を記述することが可能である.しかしながら,定式化が非常に複雑となるため,細胞レベルから積み上げられた流体力学モデルは未だ完成していない.本研究課題は,細胞レベルの物理現象を,実験や数値シミュレーションを用いて解明する.そして細胞レベルの現象の数理モデル化を行い,それを構築的に積み上げることで,マクロスケールの新しい生体流体解析モデルを再構成する.
