| Research Abstract |
亜種レベルの異なる進化的起源を有するマウス近交系統間の遺伝的差異に注目して、汎用実験用マウスであるC57BL/6J系統と日本産野生マウス由来のMSM/Ms系統を使用して樹立された「亜種間コンソミック系統」を使用して、多因子肥満症に関連した表現型の収集をおこなった。複数のコンソミック系統の雄個体を用い、高脂肪食負荷などによる飼育をおこない、特定の染色体を置換した系統で顕著に脂肪蓄積が認められることを確認した。肥満が認められた系統についてはアフィメトリクス社製GeneChipによる遺伝子発現解析をおこない、コンソミック系統の遺伝的背景であるC57BL/6J系統と比較した。
